This year CIGRE Serbia, Serbian National Committee of the International Council on Large Electric Systems (CIGRE), organized its 32nd session in Zlatibor, Serbia. Netinvest was one of the participants and presenters at the conference that lasted from May 17 to 21.
General sponsors of this year’s event were the Ministry of Mining and Energy, Electric Power Industry of Serbia and Public Enterprise Elektromreza Srbije. CIGRE conferences are traditionally held with the purpose of acquainting the public with the latest innovations, exchanging technical experiences in the processes of production, transmission and consumption of electric power, and showing the readiness of experts to address the current issues electric power sector is faced with.
The 32nd CIGRE Serbia succeeded to yet again gather a large number of experts, as well as those who deal with electric power production and distribution, and environmental protection, both domestic and regional. On the third day of the event Netinvest had the opportunity to present a scientific research paper on environmental protection aspects of the wind-generated electric power production process.
